In basketball betting, the “250.5+” refers to the total points scored in a game by both teams combined.
- The “+” means you are betting on the over.
- So, if you bet on 250.5+, you are predicting that the total combined points in the game will be 251 or more.
- If the total points are 250 or fewer, the bet loses.
The .5 ensures there is no tie (push). A total score cannot be half a point, so your bet will either win or lose.

Scenario 1 (Win)
