It’s a type of goals betting where the total number of goals in a match is compared to a pre-set line (like 2.0, 2.25, 2.5, 3.0, etc.).
You don’t pick a team to win; you’re betting on whether the total goals scored by both teams will be over or under the bookmaker’s line.
The “Asian” part means your stake may be split across two lines (like 2.25, 2.75) which leads to half wins or half losses—this is what makes it different from the regular Over/Under.

Example with a Real Club Team
Let’s use Manchester City vs. Aston Villa (Premier League)
Scenario: Asian Over 2.5 Goals
You bet ₦10,000 on Over 2.5 goals.
Final score: Man City 3 – 1 Aston Villa (Total = 4 goals). You win full stake.
Scenario: Asian Over 2.25 Goals
You bet ₦10,000 on Over 2.25 goals.
This splits: ₦5,000 on Over 2.0, ₦5,000 on Over 2.5.
Final score: Man City 2 – 0 Aston Villa (Total = 2 goals).
Over 2.0 → Push/refund (₦5,000 back)
Over 2.5 → Loss (₦5,000 lost)
Net result: Lose ₦5,000, get ₦5,000 back (half loss).
