1st Innings – 5th Batter Out (Cricket Betting) Explained
This is a player/order-based betting market where you predict which batting position will produce the 5th wicket (5th batter dismissed) in the first innings of a match.
What It Means
- “1st innings” → Only the team batting first is considered
- “5th batter out” → You are betting on which player (by batting order) will be the 5th dismissal
It does NOT mean the 5th player in the lineup — it means the 5th wicket to fall
How It Works (Simple Breakdown)
Let’s say Team A bats first.
Batting order:
- Player A
- Player B
- Player C
- Player D
- Player E
- Player F
- Player G
…
Now imagine the wickets fall like this:
1st wicket → Player B
2nd wicket → Player A
3rd wicket → Player D
4th wicket → Player C
5th wicket → Player F
The correct result is: Player F (batting at position 6)
